The beautiful thing about weddings is that you can plan your special day however you want! You absolutely don’t have to follow a traditional wedding day. I love how Michelle and Matthew planned their wedding around what was most important to them and fit their style! They had a small courthouse wedding ceremony followed by a cocktail hour and reception at Curtis Manor. It was such a lovely day! Getting Ready and First Look Moments

Michelle and Matthew decided not to have a wedding party so they spent the morning peacefully getting ready before heading to the courthouse to exchange vows. Michelle had such a sweet first look with her father after getting ready. Before the courthouse wedding ceremony, Michelle and Matthew shared their first look and it was so precious watching Matthew see his beautiful bride for the first time!

Intimate Courthouse Wedding Ceremony

Michelle and Matthew’s courthouse wedding ceremony at the Town of Clay Courthouse was just as romantic as any other wedding! They were surrounded by their closest family and friends (and their precious pup). Michelle looked breathtaking in her wedding dress and Matthew was smitten with her. The ceremony was small and simple, yet it was everything they needed to make their love official!

Love-Filled Wedding Portraits and Reception at Curtis Manor

A little after their courthouse wedding ceremony, they hosted a lively reception for all their loved ones at Curtis Manor. One of the best parts of their day was arriving at the venue before anyone else, giving them a full hour for wedding portraits without any rush or interruptions! It was so romantic and special having this time just for them, soaking in the day and their love for each other. Everyone enjoyed the reception and danced the night away. It was so much fun to capture!
