As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing so many love stories, but nothing quite prepared me for the joy of photographing my sister’s luxury engagement photos at the Pennsylvania State Capitol. Intimate Details Against a Stunning Backdrop

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was alive with romance & excitement. The grand steps of the Pennsylvania State Capitol and its striking architecture set the perfect tone as Morgan & Tyler shared sweet moments together. I also had the joy of styling the couple for this session, which I LOVE getting to do. For me, the intimate details like the white bows on Morgan’s high heels and Tyler’s timeless black & white attire hold some of my favorite memories of that day. Oh, and that RING! Most importantly, Morgan & Tyler are so rooted in their faith. They even brought their bible and read it together at the Capitol building. So many sweet moments to document!

The Pennsylvania State Capitol Building is known as the most beautiful capitol in America, and it made for such a gorgeous backdrop on this day. We explored various spots around the complex, from the majestic dome to the beautifully landscaped gardens. Each location offered a unique perspective. I felt a mix of excitement and nostalgia, knowing that this was just the beginning of Morgan & Tyler’s journey together. It was so special to capture their personalities and also showcase the genuine connection they share. I got to capture each playful glance and tender embrace!

As we wrapped up their luxury engagement photos, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It was so special to document this special milestone for my sister. I also got to witness firsthand the Christ-centered love that will soon culminate in a beautiful wedding for our family! The Pennsylvania State Capitol served as a gorgeous setting, and I can’t wait to photograph more sessions here in the future. It seriously merged history and grandeur with the personal intimate narrative of their love story.
