The outdoor ceremony highlighted the natural beauty of their sprawling backyard and really set the vibe for the day. From the lush green backdrop to the couple’s soft personal touches, this outdoor space became a luxurious haven. One of my favorite intimate moments was the first look with Anna’s dad – there’s just nothing like a father’s love for his daughter. And I’ll never forget the look on Matthew’s face when Anna walked down the aisle as it was filled with pure love and anticipation for his bride. Such a sweet moment!

I LOVE how this wedding truly achieved both elegance and affordability. Anna shared with me she that purchased her inexpensive wedding gown brand new from a resale shop. And it was a show-stopper! The family’s home was way more affordable than any other inexpensive wedding venue, but still provided a romantic space for the wedding. For example, the reception was in a large but simple white tent. It was accented with greenery and adorned with sparkling twinkling lights. This created an atmosphere that was both grand and intimate. There were also high-end details against the backdrop of a cozy, familiar place that brought it all together seamlessly!

When Life Gives You Rain, Find the (Double) Rainbow!

Looking at Anna and Matthew’s gallery, you’d never guess we experienced rain off and on all day long. We just went with it! Anna’s dad held an umbrella for a couple photos and would move out of the way just in time for me to snap the picture. And as the sun began to set, a beautiful double rainbow emerged and we all felt the presence of the Holy Spirit surrounding us. It couldn’t have been more beautiful.
