Emily and Steven’s intimate wedding in San Diego was one I’ll never forget! After tying the knot with a small courthouse wedding three years ago while both serving in the military, they finally got to have the ceremony of their dreams! Surrounded by their closest friends and family, every moment was so heartfelt. Capturing these one-of-a-kind memories as their destination wedding photographer was an absolute joy!

Heartfelt Moments Before the Ceremony

Before the ceremony, Steven shared a first look with their beautiful daughter, Scarlett. How precious is that!? Watching her run to her father’s arms was just too sweet. Emily also had a first look with her grandfather, and the love and pride in his eyes made the moment so memorable. These beautiful moments were just the start of an incredible day.

Romantic Coastal Wedding in San Diego

It was such a stunning day for a wedding in San Diego at the Island Club. Not a cloud was in the sky and the palm trees made for a breathtaking setting! And of course, Scarlett was the most adorable flower girl. Emily’s timeless dress from Elegance by Roya paired perfectly with the florals from Moreno Valley Flower Box—everything was absolutely gorgeous! At the end of the aisle, the happy couple surprised everyone with a thumb wrestle—what a fun idea! Every detail came together beautifully for the Oneills’ ceremony.

Couple Portraits and Love-Filled Moments

Couple portraits are always one of my favorite parts of capturing weddings. I love documenting those playful smiles after the ceremony, just the two of them in love. Emily and Steven are truly made for one another, and I’m so glad I was able to capture all the love-filled moments for them! The night ended with a super heartfelt reception full of dancing, laughter, and joy with their cherished loved ones.
